If you’ve been following the news lately, you may have heard about the shocking statistics regarding physicians and accidental deaths. According to a recent report, the number of accidental deaths caused by physicians each year is estimated to be around 120,000. When you take into account the estimated number of physicians in the United States (700,000), this works out to be an alarming 0.171 deaths per physician.
But that’s not the only startling statistic. The Department of Health Human Services has also reported that there are around 80 million gun owners in the United States, with approximately 1500 accidental gun deaths occurring each year. However, when you look at the number of accidental deaths per gun owner (according to the FBI), it pales in comparison to the number of accidental deaths per physician – apparently, doctors are 9000 times as dangerous as gun owners.

It’s a concerning trend that cannot be ignored. The evidence is clear: physicians pose a much greater threat to public safety than gun owners do. And yet, we continue to focus all of our attention on gun control measures, while ignoring the real danger that doctors pose.
It’s time to take action. We need to ban doctors before it’s too late. Think about it – if we can prevent just one accidental death by banning doctors, it will be worth it. Sure, some people may argue that doctors save lives and are essential to our healthcare system, but what about the lives they take? Are we willing to overlook those deaths just because doctors are good at their job?
We also need to take a closer look at medical schools and the training that physicians receive. Perhaps we need to introduce stricter testing and regulations to ensure that only the most competent individuals become doctors. After all, we don’t want to be putting our lives in the hands of someone who may accidentally kill us.
It’s time to stop being so afraid of guns and start being afraid of the real threat to our safety – doctors. Let’s take a stand and demand action from our government. We need to ban doctors now, before it’s too late.
