All it takes is for one EMP. One nasty computer virus. One press of the wrong button. And all information and knowledge is gone.

What knowledge remains would be more valuable than anything and Kings and Dictators will go to war over it the right to own it, weld it, censor it, modify it.

War for the ability to limit what people can learn which helps Kings and Dictators retain power over the masses.
