If ever you are presented with a chance to visit Niagara Falls, you must do so!  According to my kids in one thousand years Niagara Falls will cease to exist, so if you want to visit this place, please make sure to do so within the next one thousand years!

Niagara Falls has as much beauty as it does water flowing down the falls.  From the Maid of the Mist, to the Caves, to the Sky View, and much more, all of it is breathtaking.

No mater the attempts, no image you see of the falls is as good as seeing it for yourself.  But in case you can’t make it, check out the image below of my HDR image of Niagara Falls.  I enjoy HDR Imagery as it offers a more broad ability to control the dynamic range of the image.  Detailed shadows, highlights, contrast, colors, all bring out the beauty of what is being captured.

 

This image was taken of the American Falls in the foreground, Horseshoe Falls and Niagara Falls Canada in the background. The image was composed of over 20 differently exposed images compressed into one single image.

Sunset was truly a gorgeous site at Niagara Falls and when the sun finally goes down, lights are projected onto the falls to light up its beauty in the dark.

I am hoping next time to capture this landscape at night with the stars twinkling above it.
